Our name is our promise:  HALO Learning Works.

As an educational innovator in Hong Kong, we design, develop and deliver a broad range of highly original learning programmes to key professional segments – bankers, brokers, lawyers – across the region.

HALO Learning Works is the next generation of HALO Associates: a Hong Kong-based strategic marketing and organisational development consultancy that’s been producing creative, practical and dynamic learning and development experiences across Asia since 2003.

Over the years HALO has served hundreds of corporate clients and taught thousands of professionals throughout the Asia Pacific region.  And that business will continue, as clients value it highly (and we enjoy doing it!).

What’s changing is that we are moving boldly into the eLearning space.  Our aim is to set the Gold Standard for accredited eLearning for professionals in Hong Kong.

So in addition to our workshops, seminars, off-sites and provision of consulting services related to marketing and organisational transformation, HALO Learning Works will unveil in 2018 a ground-breaking eLearning platform.

We Have Proudly Worked With

What Our Clients Say

  • We engaged HALO to deliver a motivational session on Building Resilience at our regional offsite.  We found the presenter Adrian’s style both engaging and energetic, and his story-telling approach caught people’s imagination.  The talk really addressed one of our key challenges: how to succeed in a business environment of constant change.

    Michael Reeve
General Manager, EMEA Customer Centre - Semicon and Semi Service | Edward
  • Adrian has deep insight into cultural differences and provided valuable knowledge, examples and tips to navigate a variety of business and social situations. The training was adapted to our specific experiences, requirements and questions. It was completely tailored to our needs and delivered in a fun and collaborative environment. His practical experience brought the theory and subject matter of intercultural education to life.

    Sarah Clark
Director, HK & PRC Client Operations, Solium Capital
  • Adrian, you always make the classes interesting and participants really like HALO’s courses. Thanks so much for delivering the sales and leadership seminars for us. You are essentially one of the best trainers in my mind and certainly one of my favourite speakers!

    Jane Ma
Senior Executive Officer / Hong Kong Management Association
  • We engaged HALO to deliver a sales training programme to our lawyers, and found Adrian to be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable facilitator. He walked us through the various phases of the sales process and helped us examine our practice and offering from a client’s perspective. Feedback from participants showed that the course was both practical and well received.

    Hugh O’Loughlin
    Partner / WALKERS
  • Following on Adrian’s welcome involvement in our annual marketing offsite, at which he presented a primer on client marketing techniques, we selected HALO to deliver a structured programme of training on marketing skills that has enthused our team and left them wanting more. The continuing programme has proved a good way to get our lawyers thinking about marketing issues and has exposed them to the somewhat scary concept of role plays, which they have embraced with much delight.

    Ric Martin
    Partner / Kennedys
  • We engaged HALO mainly to develop our Chinese Legal Consultants’ skills when representing the firm in various situations. The interactive one-day seminar was highly appreciated by the participants and they found the learning experience relevant, engaging and encouraging.

    Ulf Ohrling
Partner, Hong Kong, Shanghai MANNHEIMER SWARTLING
  • We were impressed by the content and tone of the first course conducted by HALO for our senior team and we followed that with another for our more junior solicitors to expose them to the kinds of best client contact practices which we hope to see them develop.

    Michael Lintern-Smith
    Managing Partner / Robertsons
  • We originally engaged HALO to help us with some corporate positioning work, but soon brought them on to conduct a multi-month sales training programme for our entire team in Hong Kong. What made a particular difference to us was not only the quality of the course work and Adrian’s dynamic teaching style, but the customised role plays that allowed our solicitors – at all ranks – to practice and adopt the methods they had been exposed to during the training.

    Gordon Oldham
Senior Partner / Oldham, Li & Nie
  • Dear Adrian, many thanks for another excellent CPD session yesterday. You’re still the only CPD presenter worth listening to!

    Peter Wynn Williams
Investment Director & Partner / The Henley Group Limited
  • I was really impressed by [the trainer] Adrian’s experience.  He understands banking culture, from the inside and out.  He also had an amazing historical understanding of China, which surprised the whole class.  His teaching style was fun and entertaining, so no one ever felt bored.

    Tony Lei
Senior Software Engineer / HSBC Guangzhou
